Get help using Construct 2

I installed a new font and it appears in the Construct Editor, but when I preview my game in Chrome the font is replaced with the default font for text objects.

You should use a webfont. You cannot ensure that everyone playing your game will have the custom font available.

@briggybros Thanks, I used a cool font from the Google web font list. For the future, is there any way that a font can be downloaded or loaded like audio files and graphics?

I don't think so, no. You can download sound and images from the internet and use them, but you need to install a font, I assume that is where the difference lies. However, it might just be possible to turn your font into a webfont somehow?

@awmace5 use the Sprite font instead of the text object then you dont have to worry about the end user have the font. and you can customized if needed. there is a tool someone made to make any font a spritefont sheet if you search the forums
