Cut (or Slice) an Object...

Get help using Construct 2

Here is a example that uses the canvas object. I made something similar in CC.

You will need to re-download the canvas plugin as I added some fixes to make it work.

@R0J0hound, I got an issue. When i played your example, it suddenly stopped after the 9th or 10th cut. Then I tried showing the fps n the result's that the fps is unstable after the 9th or 10th cut. In the end before it stops, it reaches 1. Am i the only one experiencing this?

Every cut doubles the amount of objects so after 10 cuts there are 1024 objects. So it's going to have lower fps the higher the object count gets.

Oh I see, thanks. Can we make it so that everytime we do the 10th cut, the objects created by the 1st cut destroyed? and will it overcome the fps issue?

That would cause pieces to disappear. The proper solution would be to split only the relevant pieces instead of all of them.
