Old school, arcade style little shooter.

Survive all enemy waves and destroy as many of them as you can.

You have only one life so be careful.

Cybernetic Overload is a remake of my old game made in CC.

Play it on:

Newgrounds

Kongregate

Download original game here: Cybernetic Overload (CC)

• Look rad , can't play it now tho , as I'm on my NeXus tablet , I'll be sure to give it a try

• Gave this a whirl. Definitely gets challenging later on, but the difficulty ramp doesn't feel off at all.

Great graphics and sound effects.

• Looks really good and consistent graphics and audio-wise. I wonder if we are using the same software to generate those sound effect.

• Niko Probably yes. Most of them was made two years ago in sfxr (bfxr younger brother). For this version of game I've only remastered some of them and add a couple of new ones.

• Yeah really well put together. A lot of nice little touches like the spent shells bouncing off the enemy sprites.

• Yeah, I'm using sfxr as well. Didn't know about bfxr though, gonna check it out.

• Its pretty fun. Nice work Shinkan.

• I like game, and I got the top score(Yaay!) ! But I have some little nitpicks:

• The game seems to be slightly larger than Kongregrate's window which means part of the screen is cut off.
• The rockets don't seem very useful to me, but maybe I'm missing something.
• When you have double lasers you have to be careful not to pick up a single laser "upgrade", which I personally don't like.

Anyway, good job!

• Erfeo

• fixed the game window. I've uploaded a new version with little bug fixed last night and forgot to change resolution size for the Iframe - thanks for telling me :)
• Rockets... yeah they kind a useless for now. I'm thinking about converting them to homing missiles, to follow on enemy you have clicked on with right mouse button.
• this is last one is a "feature". You indeed have to be careful to not pick weaker powerup :)
