Hi guys im adamson and i am new to construct 2(r108)...

i am making a rpg game using construct where i have to save and retrieve data to a database, i want to save data like str, int, vit, remaining stat points,HP, items in the inventory, things like that and how will i retrieve and store it into a variable/s when i load the game. should i do that "on start of lay out" event?

can you give me some tips on how should i do that, as well as how should i organize my event sheets..

i know i am asking too much and i dont wanna bother anyone but please help me i am doing this for my thesis and for my group mates they dont have enough knowledge about construct so im pushing myself to make efforts please help me thank you and Godbless... :)

You could use ajax / php to communicate with database, here is manual entry for ajax.

If you are looking for something more simple, checkout webstorage object.

Yes it would probably be 'on start of layout' event :) Here are some guidelines about how you could keep your event sheets organized! :)
