Detect Collisions in physics environment

Is there any way to make an object solid whilst utilising the drag and drop and physics behaviours?
i.e drag and drop is the player which must not be able to move through another object. Is this not possible with C2?

You can always make an event that says "If player object is overlapping (this) then drop" and put all the objects of (this) type in a family.
