Hi guys, i'm a hobbyst from Italy. I've started a little project after I've recently and casually re-played an old (very old) masterpiece: Basstour. Basstour was a fishing-game hard-simulation-oriented. No action movements like Sega Pro Bass Fishing or other more-arcade-games, only the correct choice about line, worms, rod, fishing spot etc... I've played with it when i was a child, around 1992, and i really love it: take a look at

Well, i've start to work around a possible "remix" or similar. I've done the basic movement system for the boat, the cast system and the reel. Now working around the fish AI and the possible catch-system....

New updates:

- added the float that moves in realistic way whit physic behavior
- pointer movement re-made from scratch, now all work with physic
- added the rod and the control for the rod

Working hard for gameplay improvement... i've focused all action around physic. The line is now a "realistic rope" (that i've found in faq :) ) that follow the rod and the impulses from the fish...

All about rod control and line movement is now linked by the physic behavior, that is used to give a realistic feel:
