Hi everyone,
Is there a way to make different text colors in a simple text object without a plugin?
Something like this...

Example:

Player name - Can you help me with this topic ?

That would be very nice!

@septsteven: Maybe a new feature on a plugin?

Thanks for the reply guys, I tried different things but seems like the "set color" action only apply to the whole text object and not parts of the text on it! SamCartagenaPR2012-03-17 17:48:40

Don't try, it's just impossible for the moment.
The only way may be a third party plugin. (It means you won't be able to publish your game on the Scirra Arcade).

As I said, I got an idea but I'm not sure.
I'll get back to you if I do this plugin.

The only way to do it without a third party plugin is to split the text up into separate text objects per word.

@septeven, thank you for the quick reply! I'll definitely be very interested in trying out the plugin. It would be very nice and interesting! Thank you again Septeven!

@r0j0hound, Wow that's really an amazing idea! Thank you very much! The falling effects looks amazing too xD! I just enable the event to see what was it! Thank you!

I went searching for this subject.
Has there been no chance in this? I'm asking because I want to try:

7:00: Had breakfast.
7:30: Killed the neighbour's cat (not really).
8:00: Had breakfast (I'm big boned)

It would make the text box look much more professional.
