Does anyone know what Ludei's pricing will be? Its well into 2013 and they haven't released any details.

I've published one game using Construct2 and CocoonJS on the Google Play Store as well as the Apple App Store. It's a simple tap-tap football game. I get amazing performance, fps from 45-55. It does certainly depend on the hardware capabilities of the mobile as well but luckily we haven't faced much trouble.

We too are waiting for Ludei to enable developers to remove the splash screen and provide better support with a reasonable pricing scheme.

We haven't tried appMobi yet, but we shall try it for our next game.

CocoonJS is not really optimized. From the same project, my game runs at above 55 FPS on Windows Phone 8, while I only get ~ 15 - 20 FPS on Android. That's pretty weird

My android device is Galaxy SII, running 4.1.2. My WP8 is Lumia 820. They have the same screen size, pretty much the same hardware specs

We would definitively love to know more about the project. It is really weird we cannot get full performance in this case. Will you be willing to have a more in depth conversation with us and also share some code? Just let us know.

@Ludei
I use C2 and build apps in many ways and found Cocoonjs is the best for me, now I only care about how to remove Cocoonjs Splash screen. Payment account? when is it available? please give me some more information.

The powered by CocoonJS does not really bother me. Unity has it as well.

The most negative feedback I've received from my CocoonJS games has been about the long loading time at the beginning with that CocoonJS splash. People are just asking why does it take so long for the game to load and what does this mean Powered by CocoonJS? I would be more than happy to get rid of it and even willing to display CocoonJS ad in my game with a link. That splash is just too ugly and doesn't go well with anything. Could there at least be more options for how it looks, so we could choose the one that goes with the rest of the game style? The "Powered by Unity" logo actually looks good, neutral and doesn't actually bother me. There's even ways to customize it to fit your projects. nemo2013-04-29 09:40:30

I agree with @Nemo. The cocoonjs splash screen is rather annoying and kinda ruins the experience for native apps because of how different its art style is compared to the apps your making. It just doesn't fit in too well and takes time to load. It also makes majority of the apps look more amateurish as you kinda have this random splash screen that is unrelated to the game, just randomly pop up. If only it was more customizable. But I'm assuming its left on there to get more coverage and advertisement, so other developers can become more aware of it.retrodude2013-04-29 18:28:55
