Does everything work with windows 7?

For questions about using Classic.

Hi. I just installed windows 7 and just thought i'd ask if there's any known problems with construct and 7. I tried to search but since it ignored the "7" it didn't work very well.

Great! It's so wonderful to finally get rid of vista. When installing service pack 2 crashed my entire computer i couldn't stand it anymore.

I've been using Windows Seven ( :P ) from the early betas with no issues whatsoever. Except for the surprise of having to install DirectX9 and its updates manually (Win7 autoupdates drivers as they are released).

I use Construct on my computer at home on a Windows 7 computer, and sometimes at work too (also Windows 7). No problems encountered so far.

Thanks, I'm moving to a new Win7x64 system soon-ish and my concern is that some software won't work. Looks like I won't have to worry about Construct, at least.

as a more general answer
the only thing I couldn't get to work in win7 was Optical Drive Emulation apps, like PowerISO, and such. that was with the initial beta win7 version though, and there are win7 versions of all of them as far as I know now. other than that everythings worked flawlessly.

btw you're in for a treat, it's so much better than vista. no stability problems at all so far, and I've had it since the release candidate version
