Because a lot of C2 users are using Rexrainbow's moveTo behavior.

If the third party plugin or behavior adequately covers the feature, why does there need to be an official version?

or to minify script at export
I believe if using 3rd party plugins can't minify
also makes it so others not using the plugin can't open your .capx to help
correct me if wrong please

Plugin developer these days should be taking into consideration the google minify style. Most plugins I've used and seen tend to be minify safe.

Though Mipey has a good point. If the Scirra arcade is locked from 3rd party plugins. Then it is up Scirra to provide all the basic plugins. MoveTo with DT would be a very basic feature that I think shuold be in basic movement model, not even a plugin.

@jayderyu

It does. Try move at angle, or move forward.

So perhaps what we need is a way to change the display angle.

We have something in the works to allow more than the official plugins on the Scirra Arcade. So hopefully soon that won't be a reason to need a new official plugin.

Providing third party developers write their plugins correctly, they should still work when minified.
