Hey guys!

I started a devblog for my C2 game a few weeks ago, and I just put up a new update today!

A little about the game! Down To Earth is the story of a little alien called Milton who crashes his Dad’s spaceship into the middle of an Earth city and has to find his way home. It's a quirky, exploration-driven puzzle platformer with simple controls - there's no enemies' heads to jump on, no coins to collect, no annoying tutorials, just a detailed, immersive city full of interesting characters and places!

How will Milton ever return to his homeworld? And will he make any friends along the way?

Just wrote some new music for the game! It's an ambient, sweet, spacey bit of fluff about missing your pixel space family :')

(There's more tunes from the game on my Soundcloud!)

Usaly when 'them' ... well .. uhhh .. start composing music this early in the stage .... they are stuck with the code or the story. You need a kick in the a.. to get gooing? Or do i worry for nothing ?

If you gonna use the music while coding, you will recompose it till the end, hehe.

Haha, don't worry about me! For some reason I always write the music for a new area before I start working on it, that's just my process ;) I find it helps to alleviate burnout problems from trying to do everything myself - I work on things in rotation, so that when I get bored of art I do code, and when I get bored of code I do music, and so on. Keeps things interesting :D

Also it's not that "early in the stage", I've been working on the game for two years ;)

Thank you!! :D No, but it'll be cheap! I'd like to have it on Steam for £5 maximum (~$7 usd). I hate the overpricing of Steam games and there's so many little games I would have bought if they'd been a few pounds cheaper ;)
