[quote="DravenX"]Through the clouds
A demo showing how easy it can be to create a flying through clouds effect.

Nice example!

I think you need to an an event to limit (destroy) the amount of cloud sprites that are on screen?
If you let it run, the frame rate drops rapidly.

Looks good though.

Yes, just spotted that !Enable 'destroy afterwards' and it runs fine.

tiled background with image offset actions would work way better than the above example.

(it needs to be power of 2 sized though)

Exactly why i made this alternative.I agree tiled backgrounds are way better than this example.But there's nothing wrong by showing an alternative way.And with this method i can animate the backgrounds while they scroll , Something which a tiled background does not have. :wink:

Multi layer effect Using One Layer

An animated scrolling mountain and a ground layer effect.This example only uses one layer.Not the best method like quazi stated but at least the scrolling backgrounds can be animated :wink:

Calm Sea Effect With Fog effect

I created this scene with using Heightmaps , Bumpmapping and a blur effect which looks like fog moving between the two islands.
