Steps to reproduce
1. Create a sprite object.
2. Double-click on empty space BUT release click on top of the sprite object.

1. Create a sprite object.
2. Double-click on sprite object BUT drag the object on the 2nd click, don't release click yet.
3. Release click on a different position with the object.

Observed result
Sprite Editor opens.

Expected result
The way C3 handles double-clicks is based on the position the mouse releases the 2nd clicked key. In C2 the double click function works based on the 2nd quick succession click, disregarding whether the 2nd click was released or not it still executes. The only reasons I see a need to fix this is the consistency of UX design of a PC application standpoint and also the speed of executing things with double-clicks.

It's actually Chrome that decides where the double-click event fires, so this is how typical web content works. I'm not sure it's something worth trying to fix anyway, because a double-click at two different points has a pretty ambiguous location - you could take any of the 4 locations of each pointer up or down position. I think the choice of which one is used is pretty arbitrary, and it's the browser default, so I think we won't change this.
