Embed video

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Hey guys I was wandering if anyone knows a way to embed video (you tube maybe) to construct?, The ideal scenario would be to embed a video loaded from my host but I assume it would have to be the html5 video tag and then I think IE would be unable to play it.

also I tried rexrainbow's rexvideo plugin, and it is great but it has weird issues with chrome when you zoom in or out, it also has problems with IE.

Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

rexrainbow's video plugin is probably the best option, but if it's having issues, I'd try to use one of the HTML plugins that allows you to insert HTML into your Construct document (like this one: http://www.scirra.com/forum/plugins-pode-html-pack_topic51522.html). From there, you can use the video tag.
Another option is to convert your video to a GIF file and then play the audio over that. Here's just a random tutorial on converting a video into a GIF file: http://www.howtogeek.com/72084/convert-youtube-videos-to-animated-gifs-the-easy-way-no-photoshop/
Here's a free converter to convert your video to HTML5:http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/guides/free-video-to-mp3-converter.htm
Good luck!
