Endless Runner help

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Sat Jan 18, 2014 7:35 pm

Hello guys and gals. I progressed a lot on my endless runners adding layers and turning them visible when my character hits certain scores. But I can figure out any way to "turn off"/freeze/stop other layers until my character overlaps their current background. So when the player "arrives" to the next layer, the layer he was on gets destroyed/disappears and the new one activates. Any help please?

Here is something I can figure out, been trying for days... I have a layout of 1024 wide and 2500 height.

And I have 3 wallpapers that each take one third of the screen. How can I make an infinite scrolling background for each of the 3 backgrounds I have so they are always moving to the left and never leave gaps or leaves a blank spaces?

Please I need help with this, enough days trying to figure it out watching examples that dont work with my game :(Frostolo2014-01-19 02:27:36

I wonder if I can move the character from X to X each time I press a button but make it seem like he is swimming harder to get there. Someone knows?
