The zip object is causing the crash. Either remove it or make it global. If you use it you need to use it's conditions to see if it's ready.

For example this will crash:

+ System: Start of layout
-> ZIP: Open archive "data.zip"
-> Text: Set text to ZIP.Files

This won't

+ System: Start of layout
-> ZIP: Open archive "data.zip"

+ ZIP: Archive opened
-> Text: Set text to ZIP.Files

+ System: End of layout
-> ZIP: Close archive
