Exclude Music from Timescale??

Get help using Construct 2

I'm sure this is a simple fix, but I'm having a hell of a time figuring out how to exclude music from the speeding up/slowing down of timescale. I tried Set Object Time Scale but audio does not appear in there. Any suggestions?

Use a variable as a trigger and exclude music with it.

As in, you'll be adding an extra condition for timescale that will not apply for music. You follow?

Currently I have a variable gameSpeed that increments, and I set time scale to gameSpeed. How would I get that to not apply to the music? Or am I approaching this wrong?

You're making the whole game go faster in order to make it more difficult?

Then yes, I think you're approaching this the wrong way. You're making the WHOLE game go faster. You should only change the parameters of the elements that have any incidence in increasing the game's difficulty. Such as enemies, platforms, etc. So you should do this in a "case per case" basis instead of changing the whole game.

You have to change your approach and this problem that you're having won't happen anymore. Good luck :)

I think in this case I'm just approaching it wrong actually, I should speed up the objects not the whole game. But still curious if there is a way to exclude audio.
