.exe needed to approach game distributors

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Mon Apr 15, 2013 3:30 pm

Hi there, sorry its my first post and probably shouldnt have made a new topic (apologies) but this issue seems so cloudy!

Can you make a game in construct 2 that can be exported as .exe?

Note: Not as a wrapper or "yeah just make sure you download (X) or install (Y) first" kind of thing.

I mean a pc style, run it from my desktop and install it to C:\ Program files(x86) like Rome Total War or Skyrim.

I would want to approach companies like Steam, and all of their games seem .exe based, thats why im asking. PLEASE dont reply with "maybe" or "they should shouldnt they?" I need a definite yes or no guys, if anyone knows! Love the friendly community!

Construct 2 is pretty much a strictly HTML5 game creation tool. Node-webkit is a wrapper. That said, it's an exe wrapper. Try it out, see if it's useful for your purposes.TL222013-04-15 16:33:38
