@Ashley - if you could look into Greenworks 0.5.0 which released a few days ago and added some more functionality that would be great.
Also it seems to have resolved the issues with 0.12.1 - so it should be working now as intended with newer nw.js versions.

Yeah, I'm at a point where I'm ready to pay someone to implement Greenworks as a more fully-supported plugin for C2.

Any takers? :)

Greenworks looks fine (untested), thanks. But do I set it up to work with a user. Is that API? I see it activates achievements by name but how does it know which user to activate it for, etc? IS Greenworks alone enough?

@Ashley @digitalsoapbox @greenheartgames We (Cherrymochi) would be happy to contribute funding to have the problems ironed out of the Greenworks Construct 2 plug-in and kept up to date with nw.js. Who is the best person to speak to about this?

@Kenthria All you need after setting up achievements in steam is the greenworks plugin which tells steam what achievement to unlock and then steam activates it for only that user and shows the achievement overlay to that player. So steam handles everything as long as your game can communicate with the steam client when to unlock achievements.

I agree with @StaticCloud and @digitalsoapbox More and more C2 users are making games good enough for steam and it would be much easier if we all knew that the steam support is up to date for future projects as well :) So for that I would also be willing to contribute.
