Export as a series of X Y pixels to a text file?

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Hello!

I am building a robotics painting project - but am totally new to graphics and vector graphics.

Does anyone here know of free vector graphics software, that enables to export a vector drawing or chosen part of it, as a simple text file consisting of numbers, line after line, describing the X and Y pixels of the vector drawing?

Thanks a lot!

First of all, I'm not too sure what this has to do with Construct 2... maybe it should go in Open Topic.

I don't know of any such software that does this, you might have to write your own program. You also may have vector and raster graphics confused - raster graphics can be represented as a series of pixels at X and Y positions, but vector graphics are represented as a series of mathematical lines and curves.

Technically you could import an svg using the xml plug, however parsing that would be a big pain in the tuchas.
