500 monsters and creatures images for card games - Set 1
  • Hi there this my first post and I guess a bug.

I'm using release 84/85 (it's same problem for both releases).

Running on windows vista 64 bit.

    The problem :

After exporting the project and uploading it, there are no graphics.

Only thing I see instead is same image for all graphics, that shows

something like a broken image. Same thing for the sound.

So I guess all media couldn't be found too.

The functional part of the game works.

If I do the export again on a 32-bit windows xp system and upload it

    everything works fine.

    A bug I guess.

  • Please link us to your exported game so we can check it out ourselves. It sounds like you just forgot to upload your images and media folders though.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Ok this is the export 64 bit windows vista (not working) :

and this is the build with 32-bit windows xp (working):

    http:/www.burnburnburn.square7.ch/myalfaV3/

all pictures are in the folder where they belong to.

If you want the .capx file send me a PM. I don't want to publish

everything here since it is my private project for work.

  • It looks like a bug with the minifier. Can you try unticking 'minify script' and see if it works then?

Edit: it does actually look like a problem with your server. Try visiting one of the images directly:

    http://www.burnburnburn.square7.ch/myalfaxx/images/sprite9-default-006.png

Comes up as a broken image.

  • I solved it <img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0" align="middle" />... and it wasn't construct causing that problem.

The problem was FileZilla. I simply switched the transfered data type

    from ASCII to automatic.

    That's all.

Thanks for your help, I would have wasted hours with finding that

    problem.    <img src="smileys/smiley31.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
