Exported project doesn't load

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Post » Mon Dec 19, 2011 9:47 am

Hello there! I just started using construct and was having a lot of fun with my project when I realized the new exports weren't loading. However, earlier ones did and every time I click in the run layout button it also works properly.

That's a exported version and its issue.

Since I wasn't paying attention to exports, I can't tell exactly in which new added event it stop working however, it can't be that hard to spot since I have the total number of 6 events.

Thanks!

If you are using Firefox, I recommend the Firebug addon. It can help you determine what's wrong.
Component returned failure code: 0x80040111 (NS_ERROR_NOT_AVAILABLE) [nsIDOMCanvasRenderingContext2D.drawImage]
render_ctx.drawImage(img, 0, 0);
Looks like an image failed to load or something. Did you double-check your assets?Mipey2011-12-19 10:08:52

The link you posted is broken, but I added .com and it worked.

First, I followed the steps in this tutorial: checking for errors in browsers.

The game comes up with the error:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://thaisweiller.com/test/images/player-idle-000.png
Visiting http://thaisweiller.com/test/images/player-idle-000.png your server responds 404 not found.

So it looks like you didn't upload the whole project. Are you sure you uploaded the image subfolders too?

Also it looks like you're using an old version of Construct 2, I'd highly recommend staying up to date since we might have fixed bugs that affect you, we're now on r72!Ashley2011-12-19 16:52:46
