Here we have a basic map and a character using Grid Movement. I would like to make that character face a direction (NOT go there) by holding shift + arrow key. I tried to make some conditions and actions, but I had animations problems (e.g. when I press shift + arrow, the character changes the direction he is facing, stands still and it looks perfect, but when I want to change the direction once more, some animations kick in and I cant control my character anymore). I dont want to be able to stop in the middle of movement (which happened when I tried do this thingy my own way), but to change facing direction only when the character is standing still.
Hope somebody will understand me (my english is not perfect, sorry) and help me out.

Here's a modified version of your cap file, I had to remove the grid movement from the player but otherwise I just added some events: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/4714446/Trening.cap

Its saved in the latest CC version (Construct Classic R2) which you can get here: http://www.scirra.com/forum/construct-classic-r2-released_topic48884_page1.html

A fast answer and a cool one. I didn't know there was a "not equal" (inverted) option for conditions.
This works the way i wanted, Jayjay. Thank you very much!

It's all for this topic i guess. :D
