For me the new features coming out are just-in-time. For the next app I am working on, collisions and physics are being used. The other app I ported I'll be updating with the new physics and collisions. I had to do some workarounds to get the collisions working properly, now it's included.

If I had to pick one I guess it'd be sub-events. They go a long way.

If I hadn't made my own level editor it would be the ability to change duplicate's properties without affecting the rest.

Built-in collision masks are pretty nice too.

edit: Oh, C2..Well I think the above features have already been added so whatever.Tokinsom2011-09-29 19:57:48

The window that pops up and lists the variable so you don't have to write them all the time.

First, the HTML5 exporter.
Then, physics. Especially joints. They open lots of amazing possibilities.
Finally, short descriptions of events, actions, and action parameters. A small but really useful feature.

Needless to say, Construct 2 is a great application as a whole. I can't wait for more great features. And yes, a Scirra's tweet led me to this thread. Przemek327672011-09-29 22:48:24

I love the whole event system. I'm still getting me head around it but by watching the forums and reading the tutorials I'm starting to see what can be done.
