Feature Request/ Groups with Passwords

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Post » Tue Sep 20, 2016 1:06 pm

Hello, Team,

If possible one day, create groups with passwords in the event list, it would be interesting to protect the code. Even for those who sell the STORE ...

Ex: I buy a platform engine,
i can make all in circle this but not modify or "RESELL" .

kinda tricky, as everyone can look at the event sheet xml infos...

Part of the whole idea is to show someone how to do something without them having to do a bunch of research.
If they can't get that information from a template they sure as heck will get it from the forum.

No disrespect but it's kind of pointless... Especially if someone can bypass it and make a tutorial on how to break the .capx  .
For example, one might copy the event sheet contents from one locked project to an unlocked project...

I don't see the point of this, so I'm sorry, but I don't think this would be a useful feature.
