File Chooser camera image is rotated by -90°

Problem Description
when I load or take a pic with File Chooser its rotated by -90°. When I select a saved image from the web the orientation is correct.

Description of Capx
Click the button to load an image or take a new image on your phone.
selecting a selfie shows the picture at -90° rotation, selecting another picture saved from the web is displayed as expected

Steps to Reproduce Bug
  • load or take selfie (tested on iOS)

Observed Result
Image orientation is wrong

Expected Result
image should be at 0°

  • iOS Safari

iOS 10

Could not test it in IE/Chrome cause preview only works on my phone since I enabled LAN preview. No Android device available.

It's correct in landscape. In portrait it's rotated, but in that case it's kind of correct - you had rotated the actual physical camera, which presumably returns images with a fixed orientation, so the image returned is rotated.

Most software on iOS probably auto-rotates images somehow, maybe by using image metadata in the photo? C2 doesn't have access to that info I don't think. I'm not sure if this qualifies as a bug or not, or if it ought to be Safari that returns a rotated image instead.
