Firefox Error: WebGL: texImage2D

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Post » Tue Feb 28, 2017 4:04 am

Hi, when my game is loaded in Firefox I get the following error in the console:

"Error: WebGL: texImage2D: Conversion requires pixel reformatting."

There is no problem loading the actual game (though I feel it is slower in Firefox than other browsers). And no errors or warnings in Edge and Chrome.

Any ideas what's the cause of this?

It seems that the error is gone in the nightly build of FireFox, so it should be fixed soon in the stable.

It's not really an error, I'm not sure why Firefox logs it like that. It's just a performance note saying it had to do some processing of image data before making a texture. Most browsers do that already AFAIK, so it's nothing new.
