    C2 r50; Windows XP SP3; FireFox 5.0; ATI Radeon HD 4800

    To test maximage's bug report, I made a new project, imported a 8 Bits PCM wav file.

    I got the warning telling me that I shouldn't, but hey, I'm stubborn and testing, so yet I go with this one file.

    Result:

    ---------------------------

    Construct 2 Check failure

    ---------------------------

    Check failure! This is probably a bug:

    Creating deleted status undo point with no elements

    Condition: !project_elements.empty()

    File: Undo.cpp

    Line: 62

    Function: __thiscall ModifyDeletedStatus::ModifyDeletedStatus(const class std::vector<class ProjectElement *,class std::allocator<class ProjectElement *> > &,bool,const class std::basic_string<wchar_t,struct std::char_traits<wchar_t>,class std::allocator<wchar_t> > &)

    Build: release 50 (32-bit) checked

    Component: Construct 2 IDE

    (Last Win32 error: 0)

    You are using a 'checked' release of Construct 2, intended for testing, which causes certain errors to be reported this way. Hit Ctrl+C to copy this messagebox - it's useful information for the developers, so please include it with any bug reports! Click 'Abort' to quit (unsaved data will be lost!),'Retry' to turn off messages for this session and continue, or 'Ignore' to continue normally.

    ---------------------------

    Abandonner   Recommencer   Ignorer

    ---------------------------

    Clicked retry, and C2 crashed.

    -----------------

    -----------------

    Also after this try, I launched C2 again, fed it a correct 16-bit file, but I still had the warning icon.

    I guess it is due to XP (W7 required to encode AAC).

    Yet, I converted the file, despite the warning.

    It is aesthetic I guess, but maybe considering another sign if "it's OK you should convert OK, at least, into ogg" as opposed to "hey dude, you might get your C2 crashed".

  • Ooops my bad.

    I only saw your bug report in case of missing audio tools.

    I thought I had seen your previous report, but haven't found it again on checking.
