Looks like they're using Adobe Air, which I've tried previously and was no faster than HTML5. So I don't see any reason for us to change :)

In Chinese, it says: "Other mountain's stone can polish my jade."

looks like Flash refuse to die

surprisingly that demo runs really smooth though (with no stuttering at all),

i haven't seen any HTML5 game demo that run smoothly on iPad like that, hopefully soon ?

That's the new Air version. They revamped the entire thing to run at 60fps on mobile. It appears flash is currently ahead of HTML5 on iOS and Android, while HTML5 needs converters and stuff to run at barelly acceptable speeds. Damn, hard times :(Kiyoshi2012-03-22 00:00:57

I was under the impression Adobe pulled the plug on Flash development.

Wait, since when does flash work on an iOS device?

I think the big news has been missed somewhere along the line... flash on iOS... WHAT?! SINCE WHEN?!

@SoldjahBoy : since a long time .
Technically, you are compiling flex code in ObjC code, allowing you to use "flash" on iOS. The Starling framework is powerful, allowing you to use 2D bitmap accelerated by the GPU (since they are 3D textured quads, in fact).

And now Adobe will start charging a percentage of revenue of every 'console quality' game made with it's tech :) Yay! -Sarcastic-
