@whiteheat, that's an interesting problem. It's certainly more complex than it appears. You'd need some formula to keep them away from each other.

Hmm...

The fairy is following my player sprite but is far too low, not over the players head like in the demo .capx. Maybe it is because of the jumping to higher platforms.

How to fix that?Astrosus2012-12-26 01:05:48

Hi guys, i have a problem with this...
first of all, it works great... until the fairy touches my player, he is sent back to his spawn after the "KILLER" fairy has taken all of the players lifes. Taking its lifes was not intended by me and also is obviously not programmed into the .capx that we all can download (wich by the way is amazing, that people share their stuff ^-^)!

I hope it was understandable and someone can help me with this...

Thank you

I created this AWESOME version.
My fairy is solid, and when you jump on it the fairy works like
a portable eleveator.

If you want to make the fairy move faster just change lerp(self.X,xTarget,dt)<- dt to another number like 0.03
I make a tutorial based on this movement but for camera

The file in Dropbox is not accesible. It says: This account's public links are generating too much traffic and have been temporarily disabled!
Can someone re-upload it please?

@Yann Something is making it shoot to the top left of the screen :D Can I get some help here! I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. I figured it was something to do with one of the image points or something but I don't know!

When I take out this code
Image

it does stop going to the top left of the screen but it doesn't follow the character!
