For my first trick...

This forum is currently in read-only mode.
  • I found this on the Yoyo Games site in their resources, but the image itself says the following:

"By Chumbucket, can be freely distributed. Can also be freely used, modified, etc. No need to give credit!"

I edited the image so Construct could import the frames easier. Be sure to set the color mask to 255,50,255.

  • I find using someone else's sprite sheet takes a massive bite out of the originality of ones game. Just my opinion.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

    Yes becouse Programmers are Artists

    I DONT THINK SO!

  • Indeed, some of us draw as if we had no arms or right foot to speak of. These sprites are simply to give direction to where you wanna go with character design, even if it's simply for eyeballing.

  • Thanks Roracle, that's handy!

That reminds me - I'm not sure if I've linked to this before, but Lost Garden have some nice prototyping graphics. You wouldn't want to use it for a full game (because the over-cuteness would rot your eyeballs), but it's good for testing ideas.

  • When I posted this pic, I was able to come back and download it in full. Now I can't seem to access it and it would be easier to get this pic than to do it all over again. Why won't it display the full image?
