Hello,

I want to increase my freebies availble on shatter-box.com. Now is your change to suggest something you need. And if it is possible for me I will code it in C2 and release it for free.

I have expierences in
  • CocoonIO / CocoonJS (Ads, IAP, Leaderboard)
  • Arrays and LocalStorage
  • Functions
  • Crosswalk & Intel XDK

So if you need something like a HighScore function based on LocalStorage or something else, reply here :)

Hi @AndreasR I checked out your shatter-box site, very cool mate. Thank you for all the awesome free work you did/do for us.
My suggestion/request, if you want to tackle it, is a paypal donation button/system within the game that gives the player the option to donate whatever ammount of money he wants($1 minimum lets say). And of course after he donates he is presented with the choice(yes choice!, this means he can decline) to remove ads.
This would be much better, in my opinion, then having to deal with set ammounts and dozens of different tax rates for each country like you would get when using the iap.

So if someone else could test drive it that would be awesome. As for me I'm just gonna wait till you put the code up so I can take a look at it.

Do you normally develop for iOS? Or only for web? Because the template I made is only for mobile (iOS / Android).
I haven't found a PayPal Plugin for C2 for Web use. If you have one, please provide me the link ;)

I will finish the docs, upload some screen shots and the source code. Should be done till friday!

I'll inform you here.

I develop only for android at the moment @AndreasR . I have a friend that helps me test my games on his device. If my games actually make me some money one day I'll buy my own. But considering I've only made 0.38 euro so far, I wouldn't hold my breath for that to happen any time soon....

Anyway, if you're up for it I have another request for you, maybe even more important then the previous one.
A proper save/load game system!!

I've been using the system save&load so far, and the results are not good. I have very little control over what I can save, sure I can add the nosave behavior to objects, but stuff like variables, screen position, etc. I have no control over.
The on save complete/on load complete actions don't seem to work properly.
And using this way to save the game makes it very hard to update it later without having to change the save/load slot which will of course result in you losing you progress.

I would like a flexible save/load game system where I have full control over what is saved and loaded. Think you could achieve something like that?

I already made such a template. I'll improve it and release it as freeby :)
