A cool way for kids to write and practice English Alphabets
  • I am using the latest version of C2, and it keeps randomly crashing or just shutting down!

Never happened with previous version's (prior to 'physics')

I know there is going to be bugs that need sorting, but the crashes usually happen after i have added a load of new events (i am doing frequent backups !)

    The Windows event viewer reports:

    Event Type:     Error

    Event Source:     Application Error

    Event Category:     None

    Event ID:     1000

I was just wondering if anybody knows what the above error might refer to?

I don't know what that means, nor what it is.

  • I seem to be getting a different error which each crash.

The latest one I got was after adding a new Layout:

  • Backup old capx files and when you are editing save as a new file, constantly. Tom and Ashley will likely be fixing the issues and release a new update when they get back.

  • We're not away yet :)

There haven't been many significant changes to the editor since physics. So I'm not sure what this could be - if other people report the same issue I'll be worried, but it might be a problem with your computer. Does it do it with all projects, even new blank ones? Can you reproduce a series of steps to get it to crash in the same place every time? Have you tried reinstalling C2?

It appears it was a problem with my computer.

Wiped the hard drive and reinstalled everything...Nightmare, but seems to work fine now.

    Sorry for doubting you guys.

  • Heh, glad to know it's solved though!
