Full screen with Node Webkit

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Thu May 29, 2014 8:09 pm

Hi All

Going through the forums to see if it is possible to go full screen with an exported node webkit game. I like sharing the the EXE games with friends. Easy for them to just launch the exe on their pc and play, but the games play in a window. Is it possible to make these games go full screen? Alt+Enter for example does not work.
Thank you

By adding the browser object, you can use the request and cancel fullscreen actions
Game design is all about decomposing the core of your game so it becomes simple instructions.

Thank you Aphrodite.
So simple, yet I couldn't figure it out after 2 days of struggling. At least I won't be a noob forever :)

@Aphrodite

Not seeing the browser object option...
Check out my latest game RAPID-TAPIT. Get your Fingercise on with this one. A steady Tap is all you need to score points. Lift a finger and see what you can do...

Just add the browser object (like you would add a new sprite or tiledbackground), and you will be able to use it.

Hey, just an added note, if your game doesn't use the mouse and you want to also hide the cursor. make a mouse object, and add the following action 'set cursor style->none' i know it's not what you asked for but i think it's important step in going fullscreen if the cursor is not needed :)
