Does function pass the picked instances or it will reset and pick all instances?

EDIT: Sorry, I hadn't realized that Function in Construct 2 didn't work like the Function object in Construct Classic, the info Aphrodite posted will work though.

--------

You can manually choose that when you call the function, so technically it can do both.

If you want to pick all of an object after calling a function, you can use the System condition "Pick All"

Hope that helps :)

As far as I am aware, functions do not pass the picked elements, to do so, you have to pass the uid of the object as a parameter, then pick the object back using the object condition "pick by unique ID" with that parameter.
Game design is all about decomposing the core of your game so it becomes simple instructions.
