Thank you for looking at the tuts @blurtsmum :) !

I'm back with 2 new videos focusing on open source software! I wanted to move towards those for a while, and now the shift is happening at last! I'll be focusing a bit on Krita in the next few weeks, as it's a solid free option for game artists.

Will definitely check out the Krita tut. It's a wonderful tool, and the UX isn't quite like anything else out there -- commercial or otherwise. Really feels more geared towards artists than Gimp, Photoshop, etc. The brushes and filters are particularly top-notch.

Just wish it was a little more stable on windows... :)

hello @Valerien
Delighted to hear about some tuts and lists of open source development arenas. I am a huge Open Source fan and not just because of the price - or lack of it! I think the development cycle and push from users and programmers can in lively arenas create inspirational and boundary pushing software.

Look forward to seeing what you are up to.

@TiAm : yes, a bit unstable. I also read on reddit that it entirely runs on the CPU, and that it won't exploit the GPU until quite some time, still. So this explains the poor performances on quite a few operations. But well, we just got a new release today, substantial improvements every few weeks... it's a really promising software, on top of being a good tool already.

@blursmum : that's the idea. I hope that Krita, Godot, MuseScore and all will keep gaining traction! They all deserve it.
