Hi guys,

i have released the game GemBreak as a demo on Scirra arcade.

UPDATE:
(added planets with rotation and gravitation)

It's awesome.

I'd suggest the following changes:
IT should bounce off the wall more, it's just kinda a dead ball once it hits it.

Also the bouncer at the bottom should bounce it more, since it does not actually bounce it back into the area of play. Just delays the inevitable a bit.

Sadly, level 7 would not load for me.
I went back to the menu and then selected play, it showed the first 6 levels complete, but the number 1 in the 7th circle. selecting it again failed to load the level , it just hung at the spinning symbol over the level 7 circle.

I tried again from the beginning, but it again hung on loading level 7.


All in all, one of the better games I've seen.

Thanks for the feedback AlbertHall.
I totally agree with the bouncing on the platform and the walls, now that you mentions it.

By the way, there is only 6 levels. I just forgot to delete the rest.
But i'll will upload a new version with new levels later tonight instead, it shouldn't take long.

Im happy, the game was fun to play.


How about the perfomance, did you notice any lagging?

I just updated the game in the Arcade, fixed the wall and platform physics, and added 2 new levels!

Hello. What is going on? Every post i click i see great games, here's another one. To be perfectly honest i think the idea is brilliant. This game is perfect for cell phones, but I,m not sure about the performance tough. I had some sort of slow mo / lag experience while/after/close to collecting green bonus. With changes suggested by AlbertHall it can be freakishly entertaining game.

Hi Gregory19821, thanks for the feedback.
Actually when you are getting near a green "gem" it's the meaning that it goes slowmotion. Just for a cool effect. But i might delete that feature, if people are misunderstanding it for game lagg!

I know it was slow motion and it was nice but i had lag as an extra effect. It was present especially with 5 extra balls spawning buff. Gregory198212014-02-14 01:37:20

I just updated the game with an "Options Menu"
You can now:
Enable / Disable sounds
Graphics mode: High / Low

When graphics are set to "low" all particles are removed from the game.
Also some animations.. So this might speed up the game, and prevent lagg.

Im interested if anyone can "feel" a difference with the "low" setting?
