get landed object

Get help using Construct 2

hello...

I'm doing a self-destroy platform when the player land on it...
my idea was when platform collide with the player then destroy, but it trigger the destroy not when you land, when you touch or pass throug too :(

some idea how can I do that??

You can add a hidden sprite with a thinner collision that overlaps the side you intend the player to trigger the destroy event.

Which also mean you will be checking the collision of the hidden sprite, not the platform. The platform will only go when the hidden sprite is touched.

If you are using the platform behaviour on your player (only if you are)
you can use the condition "is falling".

eg: |Player: Is falling| Platform: Destroy|

This will only destroy your platform when your player falls onto it. The downside is that if you tap the platform on the side WHILE falling it will still destroy it.
