    None, I don't get that far...

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Open any sample project

    2. Click to run in browser

    3. Hit F12 > Console, getting 404 error (screen attached)

    Observed result:

    <img src="http://mymuck.com/construct-error-01.png" border="0" />

    Also get this error when closing the IDE:

    <img src="http://mymuck.com/construct-error-02.png" border="0" />

    Expected result:

    Expecting it to run as it does on my other machines

    Browsers affected:

    Chrome: yes

    Internet Explorer: yes

    Operating system & service pack:

    Windows 8 latest updates

    Construct 2 version:

    Release 119 (64-bit)

  • I actually just uninstalled it and re-installed it as 32-bit this time and it works fine. Although I do have a 64 bit machine, for some reason it just doesn't want to work in 64-bit mode.

  • Try Construct 3

    Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

    Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Nobody else is reporting this error, and the recycle bin corruption message is very strange. I'm afraid I think a more likely diagnosis is your hard drive or system is failing in some way. Closing unless we hear about this issue from other users.
