Getting auto mirror to work.

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Tue Sep 27, 2011 8:03 pm

I'm trying to get Auto mirror to work on my character sprite, I've got the set angle when using the left and right keys to 0 and 180. This does mirror the image but it seems to move it up or down a touch and it doesn't look right.

I have an example set up here you can see, just move left and right a bit and you will see my issue.

Can you post your .capx file? We can't see how you made it from the exported project.

Oops, the collision mask isn't mirrored properly. Set the collision mask to bounding box and it works OK. I'll try fix that for the next build.

How do you "set the collision mask to bounding box", exactly? I had the same problem myself.

On the Image Editor, click "Set Collision Polygon" icon, then right click on the image and select "Set to bounding box"
Hope it helps ^^
