A complete beginner's guide to making a simple game, guiding you through the interface and making events.

Feedback on this tutorial would be appreciated, especially from complete beginners. Was it easy to follow? Did you get stuck anywhere?

I just checked out Construct and this tutorial last night, and I must say I found the tutorial easy to follow and informative in that it showed me where the most common controls and features were located. Good job.

Logical, easy to follow - just the stuff for a beginner to get into Construct. By the end I was adding extra stuff and had a good grasp of what is what.

So keep up the great work both on Construct and the help materials :)

That's fine, it would be great to have translations of this tutorial.

thank you for this tutorial,

unfortunately I have a problem when I try to add the player's sprite, I can open it but in the Layout it's like the image is broken. Any guess ?

That's the issue with some nvidia graphics card. Make sure your sprite has power of two image - 32x32, 64x64, 128x128... that should fix your problem.

This is a new forum launched on a new server etc. Some links will not work until fixed by the uploader - hopefully soon
