@inkBot thanks, now I finally got the inspiration to make the games I've always wanted but couldn't quite think of:
- Kamikaze Amish Gang
- Asian Booty Farmer
- Sensual Wheelchair Domination

In all seriousness, it is pretty useful when you really have no idea what you want to make.

I find that a simple RPG like FF1 or something similar to the RPG maker group is a good way to test your skills and have a bit of fun.

You can practice Dialog, Math/Battle Systems, Maze/Quiz Puzzles, and a good amount of small mini game type events.

Most of them are easy, you can write simple RPGs by hand in a few languages once you get the movement interface down, mostly just need to know variables, if/than, switches, and timing.

Good luck!

I agree @verser once you learn a programming language all you need to do is execute it well for an RPG. but i don't really think that C2 is well suited to that (no offence, only that event style i belieeve is better for minigames)

I have an idea. The game is called WineCraft. The goal off the game? , visit as many winefarms as possible and do some "taste tests".You score points by getting drunk and running from the cops.Note running not driving. The more intoxicated you get the more difficult it becomes to
control you character.Bonus points are gained by avoiding cars while under the influence.

Well ideas are a dime a dozen, the issue is making a good one. Once you get it from people here or from some other inspiration think long and hard if the idea is worthy, can be modified, or even branch into something that is good. Just be critical if its only a mini game, because those are what really need good ideas to not just be the same genera that could be found elsewhere.
