I have published a game and its been on the store now for 5 days

the game is called squares vs circles! ( https:// play. google. com /store/apps/details?id=com.iraqdev.svc )

when i search for my game

-the first day it was on store - it came up around 60 ( the rank)
- second day it was around 30
- 3th-4th day it was ranked 11 when i search for it!
- now on day 5 when we got more hits and now we have 160 users using the game (the number 100 downloads isnt in play store yet) anyway it is back to number 30 when i search for its name!
why is that why has it gone back even though it is improving and we getting arround 16 new users daily (according to google analytics)

How long did it take for the PlayStore to show the amount of downloads your app has? Mine is in it for 2 days and still shows nothing. Even tho I know for a fact that it has at least 10 downloads.

well this depends ! but tbh they take pretty long time to update !

It depends on the Data Center I believe. Same as with Google search. There is no one search result for everyone. It depends on the DC, if it gets updated already or not. Also your location against your app settings matter. The game types you've played till now also have an impact on your search results. Google tries to show you games which are most suitable for you/your interest.

Last year I've released a trivia game and we were doing paid marketing, so we were getting many people daily and still had to wait hours for the DC to update. And even though we have thousands of downloads, I've seen the app on different position from Poland than my friend from UK.

EDIT: BTW I see it on the 1st position.
