Gravity Comparing

New releases and general discussions.

I'd like to see Gravity comparisons added to the events for the platform behaviour.

For example, lets say Gravity is less than 50 and Sprite is not overlapping ground ---> add 1 to Gravity.

So far there only seems to be comparisons on the Actions end of things, but it would be useful on the Condition side as well.

Thanks for Reading !

New Condition -> Values (Compare)
And then change Value 1, Comparision and Value 2
for ex. [color=#0080FF:zywzpyqc]Sprite[Platform].Gravity | Less Than | 50[/color:zywzpyqc]

There is no better way to do this

Wouldn't it be easier if gravity was just added to the conditions portion of the event, easier to understand and easier to access when frequently used ?

I'm not sure what you mean. Can you explain that in a different way please ?

Sure! It's under the system object when creating a new event. "Compare Value."

Then, when you're at a point you have two input fields, place your cursor in one and double click an object in the list below. This will give you the system-level information those objects contain. In many cases, these are different than the otherwise filtered lists you see at object level.

I think once you see what I mean, this will open up a whole new world for you.

Quick to do, 'Compare gravity' is in the next build.

Great. This might fix a few of my problems. How is the next build coming along?

Should be out today, pending a few problems with the picture editor.
