Greenlight adds entry fee

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Corr! That's a bit of a shame. It'll cost around 70 as a one off fee for Greenlight now. Apparently it's to stop hoaxes, sexual content, etc.

Should have got in early!

Doh...

I think this was inevitable - open, free submissions quickly degrade in to, well, typical internet content. A fee is the quickest and easiest way (for them) to filter out 99% of the people who aren't serious.

Yeah, definitely don't blame them! It's a shame though. I feel I missed out. Oh well!

Worth mentioning is that the $100 fee goes to charity.

I'm really glad they did that. Sorry for saying this, but this will stop all that crap coming in.

90 for Euro Europe, which is 10 more than the US price converted into Euros.

I do like the idea to ask for a subscription fee and that it goes to charity (deducting Tax on Steams side), what I don't like is, that the donation is made by Steam and not in the name of the subscriber. This gives steam the possibility to deduct the donations from their taxes.
