Even if Greenworks only allows Achievements and Cloud Storage, it would still be of very good use!

Now that i think about it, the Steam SDK is written in C++, and that is the problem.
What if, we use Emscripten to port the SDK to JS so we from there on could make a plugin.
Wouldn't that work? Or do i missed something out?

A plugin would be great! :)
Btw: Did anyone already publish a C2 Game to Steam? Is it possible to add DLC/Ingame purchases to your game?

@SgtConti @Ashley

There is also the Steamworks Web API which allows you to make HTTP calls to do things like:
  • Set or retrieve a user's stats, achievements or leaderboard scores
  • Execute an in-game purchase (using Steam Wallet)

That might be an option rather than using the Steamworks C++ API, although they are protected methods that require authentication and are intended to be accessed from trusted back-end applications.

@Bl4ckSh33p
There are at least 5 Construct 2 games released on Steam, see here

In-game purchases for games on Steam would most likely require the use of the Steam Wallet, which you need to access via the Steamworks API (either Web or C++).
Find all the Construct 2 games that were on Steam Greenlight here

Node.js 0.11 still hasn't gone stable yet, and as discussed previously the Web API requires that you run a separate server.

New version of C2 comes with "Updated node-webkit to v0.10.1".
So... any news on that?

Workshop Support for GDT - Greenworks updated as well

Seems like they updated their plugin to have workshop integration. High hopes for C2 potential for native steam games once 0.11 is stable.
