Group of sprites following an object : Solved

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Fri Jan 24, 2014 5:46 pm

Hi, how could a group of Sprites follow an object without go all to the same point so they dont overlap each other?

Edit:

I want to simulate a group of people trying to enter a (sometimes moving) door. So, if the door is not open, they just wait close to it.

Thanks!

I have read this topic
http://www.scirra.com/forum/boids-tests_topic59833.html
and the 2nd example is close to what I need. But the sprites dont stop moving completly. I need them to be more "stable".

Thanks!Oyar2014-01-25 22:27:32

This is the solution I use:

If Type1 is overlapping Type1
Bring the closest Type1 to the Door
Move this Type1 to the Door
All the rest, Stop moving.

So every time a Type1 is the first on the "line" it will move on, making room for the Type1 right behind it to move next.

I think your meaning this

There is another plugin to go with that behaviour called push out solid, preventing certain overlapses.lennaert2014-01-25 16:16:34
