Get help using Construct 2

Post » Tue Feb 02, 2016 6:08 pm

I've tried in the past to add big / long sounds to a project and it seems Construct 2 doesn't handle this very good (my opinion).
As I remembered, when i was trying to add big sounds to my project, to start playing them i must put there a mini pause (wait 0.2 secnds) to start the game.
My question is :
If i would want to add big souds like narrating a story what / how is better to add them?
how can i improve the space in my project ( less mb's ) ?
how can i have a smooth playing ?

Thank you very much.

For sounds there is the option to preload, this should work..
If you have big sound files it might be better to add them as music files, so they are streamed instead of completely in memory..

I thought this was all pretty well explained in the manual..
I told my dentist I had trouble with my teeth and asked her to fix it without looking in my mouth..
