For questions about using Classic.

Hey folks!

I'm not sure if is possible to create a heat haze effect which is inspired by wolfenstein (2009) game, haven't u played it? i was experimenting a sprite mixing between warp and some animated effects, the results weren't correct...i had no luck. Maybe someone make a new PS effect.

I think it's a good idea. What do you think?

(My english is not good, i hope you understand.)

Maybe try applying the magnify effect to an animated or warping sprite. I think that'd do it.

Moved thread to Help/Tech

And yes, Jayjay has the right idea. Make a tileable image that is just blurred black and white noise, then add warp and magnify.
