Help fixing my games physics

Get help using Construct 2

through many attempts of help from the loving community, i am still unable to get my actor to launch and forward and then have physics do its thing. instead when my actor is launched he drifts perpetually.



press space bar down to set the power
release the space bar to set the angle

i appreciate any and all feedback regarding my question or otherwise.

Not sure why you started a new thread, but anyway...

In your event 23, add a condition System -> Trigger once while true. Otherwise you're applying the impulse every tick.

@HITmen you're applying an impulse every tick. Make sure you use the 'trigger once when true' condition.

i apologize for the new thread. in all honesty this is my first forum experience and i did not want to keep asking you questions when you were already so helpful geometrix.

Thank you all for your agreed solution, it all makes sense now, i was not aware that my condition was firing every tick after the flag was set.

Did you see anything else that i should be concerned with or fix or do differently
